SEAS Artist Roster

The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, in partnership with DC Public Schools, seeks qualified artists to provide artist residencies and workshops as part of this year's SEAS (Summer Education/Arts/Sports) Program.

The SEAS program offers out-of-school time activities at over 70 public schools during the summer months. The program is scheduled to run from June 5 through August 3, 2001, and will serve over 8,000 children. Many workshop artists in a variety of disciplines are needed to work in this program during the course of the summer. All artists accepted into the SEAS program will be listed on an artist roster for two years.

Individual schools will select their residency artists, who will be paid $30 an hour for their services. The deadline for artist roster applications is Thursday, April 19, 2001.
